Arolite Group is a quality roofing and exteriors company based on Church Street in downtown Asheville. Our focus is roofing, siding and gutters. We are not the bargain roofer, and that only works if the people on the roof care about the work. The crews here are known in our reviews for daily updates, cleaning up properly and working the day through, and that is the standard anyone joining is expected to keep.
Who We Are Looking For
Roofing crew
Tear-off, decking, underlayment, ice and water barrier, architectural shingle and standing-seam metal installation, flashing and ridge work. Experience on steep-slope residential roofs is what we need most; if you have installed metal, say so. You will work under a crew lead and be expected to leave a yard the way you found it.
Siding and gutter installers
House wrap, vinyl and board-and-batten siding, trim, soffit and fascia, and seamless gutter installation with proper pitch and downspout placement. Many of our jobs put the roof, siding and gutters on one house in one visit, so a hand that can move between them is worth a lot to us.
Exterior consultant
Our sales model is in person. An exterior consultant climbs the roof, inspects it, photographs it and then sits down with the homeowner to go through a written price line by line. No high-pressure scripts and no bargain pitches. You need to be comfortable on a roof, honest about what you find, and able to explain a quote so that a homeowner understands exactly what they are paying for and why. Experience with storm damage and insurance claims is useful.

How to Apply
Send an email to support@arolitegroup.com with the subject line "Application" and the role you are applying for. Include the following:
- Your name and phone number. We call rather than email to set up a conversation, so make sure the number is one you answer.
- The role. Roofing crew, siding and gutter installer, or exterior consultant. If you can do more than one, tell us.
- Your experience and any certifications. How many years, what kind of roofs, what materials you have installed. List any safety, fall-protection or manufacturer training you have completed, with dates if you have them.
- Your availability. When you could start, and whether you are available Monday to Saturday. Our jobs run on daylight, and the schedule follows the weather.
- A resume, if you have one. A PDF or a Word file is fine. If you do not have one, a few clear paragraphs covering the points above will do.
We read every application and reply to the ones that fit. Candidates who move forward are invited to meet in person at the office or on a job site. We will tell you honestly whether there is a spot for you, and if there is not one right now, whether we expect one soon.
A Few Straight Answers
- Do I need my own tools? Bring your hand tools and your harness if you have them. Tell us in your application what you have.
- Where are the jobs? Across Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina, most of them in Buncombe, Haywood and Henderson counties. You will need reliable transport to the office or the site.
- Is there room to move up? We are growing, and crew leads come from the crew.
