Most roofs in Buncombe, Haywood and Henderson counties get replaced for one of two reasons: they wore out, or a storm took them out. Neither one waits for a good time. A roof that is leaking into the attic in November needs to be dealt with before the freeze-thaw cycle starts working on the decking, not after you have saved for it. Financing exists so that the timing of the roof and the timing of your money do not have to line up.
Arolite Group offers financing on roofing, siding and gutter projects through more than one lending partner. It is set up for exactly this kind of job: a home improvement project with a known price, paid off in monthly installments rather than all at once. Mention it when you book the free inspection, and we will walk you through the options at the kitchen table when you go over the written estimate.
Check Your Rate Ask About Financing

How It Works
It starts with the price. After the free inspection you get a written, itemized estimate, and that number is what gets financed. Your exterior consultant goes through the financing options that fit the job, and if one suits you, you fill in a short application with the lender. There is no commitment until you accept an offer.
If you are approved and decide to use it, the amount is applied toward the written price on the estimate and you make monthly payments to the lender over the agreed term. The actual terms you are offered depend on your creditworthiness and are subject to approval. We cannot tell you in advance what the payment will be, and we would be wary of any contractor who claims they can before you have applied.
What Financing Does and Does Not Change
It does not change the price
The estimate you get after the free inspection is the same whether you pay by check, card or financing. We do not mark the job up to cover a financed sale.
It does not change the inspection
Every job starts the same way: an exterior consultant gets on the roof, checks it, photographs it and sits down with you to go through what they found. If the honest answer is that a repair buys you several more years, we will say so, and a repair is a much smaller number than a replacement whether it is financed or not.
It does change when the work can happen
That is the point. A homeowner in Hendersonville who was going to wait until spring can have the roof done before winter. A family in Waynesville whose shingles blew off in a wind event can replace the roof now and spread the cost rather than tarping it for a season.
The Other Way a Roof Gets Paid For: Insurance
If the roof was damaged by wind, a fallen tree or storm debris, your homeowner's policy may cover some or all of the replacement. That is a separate path from financing, and in this part of the state, after Helene, it is the path a lot of roofs end up on. We document the damage with photos, write up what we find, and can meet the adjuster on site so the scope matches what is actually on the roof. Where a claim covers part of the job and you want upgrades beyond it, say a move from shingle to standing-seam metal, financing can cover the difference. Read how the claim process works on our storm damage and insurance page.
Questions Your Exterior Consultant Can Answer
- Whether your job is a candidate. Your exterior consultant can tell you how financing would work for the specific scope on your estimate, whether that is a replacement, a repair, siding or gutters.
- How to apply. The application is short and most people do it on their phone. The exterior consultant can sit with you while you do it if you would rather.
- What happens if you are not approved. Nothing changes on our side. The estimate stands, and you can pay another way or wait. The free inspection and the written price were never conditional on it.
