What happens next

  1. We call you back to set a time. Someone from the office rings the number you gave us, asks a couple of questions about the house and the problem, and books a visit that fits your week, Monday to Saturday.
  2. An exterior consultant inspects the roof. Not a salesperson with a tablet in the driveway. An exterior consultant gets on the roof, checks the shingles or panels, the flashing, the valleys, the decking where it can be seen and the gutters, and takes photos of what they find.
  3. You get a written price in person. The exterior consultant sits down with you and goes through it line by line: what needs doing, what can wait, what it costs and why.

What Happens After You Get in Touch

Whether you use the form or the phone, the request lands with the same people. If you call during business hours, you will usually talk to someone in the office straight away. If you fill out the form, it goes to the office inbox and someone calls you back to book the visit. We do not hand leads to a call center, and we do not sell your details to other roofers, which is something people ask about a lot after a storm year.

The inspection is free and there is no obligation attached to it. You get the photos and the exterior consultant's findings whether or not you hire us. If the roof is fine, we will say so. If a repair will get a few more years out of it, we will price the repair, not the replacement. And if it genuinely needs replacing, you will get a written estimate that reflects just that, so you can compare it fairly with any other quote you have.

What to Have Ready

  • The property address. Including whether it is a primary home, a rental or a cabin you only visit now and then, which matters for scheduling in Maggie Valley and up the valleys.
  • What you have noticed. A stain on a ceiling, shingles in the yard after a windy night, a gutter pulling away from the fascia, daylight in the attic. Photos from the ground or the attic help, but do not get on the roof yourself.
  • Your timeline. An active leak is a different conversation from a roof you want done before winter. Tell us which, and we will plan around it.
  • Insurance details, if there is a claim. The carrier, the claim number and the adjuster's name if one has been assigned. We can document the damage for the claim and meet the adjuster on site.

Emergency After a Storm

Wind off the ridgelines, a tree coming down in a saturated yard, hurricane-remnant rain like Helene brought in September 2024: these are the things that put water in a living room in Western North Carolina. If you have an active leak, call rather than filling in the form, and tell us it is an emergency. We will get you on the schedule as early as we can and talk you through what to do in the meantime, which is usually to move what you can, catch the water, and leave the roof alone until someone with a harness gets there.

Two things worth knowing. A tarp is a stopgap, not a repair, and it should go on before the next rain, not after. And take photos of everything before anything is moved or cleaned up, because the insurance side runs on documentation. Our storm damage and insurance page covers how that process works and what we do on your side of it.

Choose "Emergency" under "How soon?" on the form if you cannot get to the phone, and we will treat it as one.

Questions Before You Call

Does the roof inspection really cost nothing?

Yes. An exterior consultant comes out, looks at the roof, siding or gutters, and tells you what is going on. There is no charge for the visit. You get the findings whether or not you hire us.

Do I need to be home for the inspection?

For the inspection itself, not always, as long as we can reach the roof safely. For the estimate, yes. We sit down with you in person to go through the price line by line, so plan on being there for that part.

Which areas do you cover?

Buncombe, Haywood and Henderson counties: Asheville, Black Mountain, Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Hendersonville and the communities around them. If you are just outside that, call and ask. Our office is on Church Street in downtown Asheville.

What should I have ready when I call?

The property address, what you have noticed (a leak, missing shingles, sagging gutters, damage after a storm) and roughly when you want the work done. Photos help if you have them. If an insurance claim is involved, have the claim number handy.

Do you only do roofing?

Roofing, siding and gutters are our focus: roof replacement, roof repair, storm damage and insurance work, metal roofing, siding installation, and gutter installation, cleaning and maintenance, all by one crew.

Can the work be financed?

Yes. We offer financing, and your exterior consultant can walk you through the options when you go over the written price. Terms depend on creditworthiness and are subject to approval.
